Koichi Tohei

Aikido was created in the early twentieth century by Morihei Ueshiba. Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido was created by Koichi Tohei, a senior student of Morihei Ueshiba, after Ueshiba's death.

ELKTON KI AIKIDO We offer instruction in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido (literally "Aikido with Mind and Body Unified"), but commonly known as "Ki Aikido" in downtown Elkton, ten miles East of Harrisonburg VA. Elkton Ki Aikido is a member dojo of the Virginia Ki Society and the Eastern Ki Federation.
